In 1845, Florida was admitted as a 27th state of U.S, after a period of three hundred European eras. Florida is a state situated in the southeastern part of United States. Florida is known as the Sunshine State because of its generally warm subtropical climate in its northern and central states, with a true tropical climate in the south.

Tourism is very important in Florida. Warm weather and hundreds of miles of beaches attract about 60 million tourists to the state each year. Parks, particularly in the Orlando area are an important part in tourism.

Most of the beaches in towns are also popular destinations especially in winter. The public has a right of access to the beach in the doctrine of public trust. However, some regions have blocked access by private owners for long distances.

The thought of going to Florida is as magnificent as the site itself. It is an ideal destination for all age groups and if you are with your family or friends you’re bound to enjoy Florida.

The cities of Florida have lots of personal and family attractions such as:

  • Universal Studios
  • Disney Land
  • Lowry Park Zoo Bush Gardens
  • Florida Aquarium
  • Science and Industry Museum
  • The Space Coast (famous for its sandy beaches)
  • Kennedy Space Center
  • NASA
  • Space Museum

To add on the list are the Walt Disney world resorts, Lake Buena Vista and the Sea World.

World Disney resort entertainment complex is the largest and most visited of the world, situated approximately 6 miles southwest of Orlando, Florida, USA. The center has 30,080 hectares with 4 Theme Parks, two water parks, themed hotels with 23 stations on the site, including a campground, two health and fitness centers and other places of recreation and leisure.

Lake Buena Vista is best known for being home to Walt Disney World Resort and is a city in orange county, Florida, it is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area. The body of water called Lake Buena Vista is a small pond located east of the golf course view.

Another interesting place to visit is the Sea World. It is a chain of marine mammals in the park, oceanariums and animal theme park, which owns by Sea World Park & Entertainment. Parks feature killer whale in captivity, sea loin, dolphins, and zoo display with a variety of marine animals.

Aside from that, St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States is also in Florida. It is amazing to just walk through the streets and explore the oldest buildings still standing for centuries now. When you’re in St. Augustine, don’t forget to visit the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum.

And lastly, but definitely not the least, is the city of Miami, one of the finest cruises around the bay and plenty of beach activities. You can also participate in games and displays in the airboat rides and a plethora of wildlife show. Some people come to Miami to unwind and splurge their days sunbathing on beaches.

Many sailors like to live in Miami Beach because the city is right in front of Miami itself. These marinas are located a shorter distance by car from Miami International Airport and I-95. They are also within walking distance from Miami Beach and downtown and have access to the famous nightlife of the city.

Miami Beach Marina is situated in Alton Road just MacArthur Causeway connecting Miami Beach. The property is strategically located close to the sea and beach fishing.

There is certainly everything you could ask for a vacation in Miami. I would also recommend that you hire a car when going to Miami for you to have the freedom to explore everything in your own time without the annoyance and trouble of having to get a coach or train at a certain time.
